i'm on L1B visa.I came to US on L1B in 2005 with one year petition and got extension
for 3 years. meanwhile i left to India in June 2007. And then i came back with new L1B petiotion in Oct 2007 which is valid till Sep-2010.Now my question is
1) Is my L1B stay reached to maximum or do i still have 2 years left with my new L1B.
2) If i apply for H1 this year how many years of stay i'll get with H1B.
Please help me with this madam as soon as possible.

Hi,
I have a EAD L2 Based valid till 2009. I havent worked in US till now after getting EAD. Now I have to travel to India for a Month. What will be the procedure to retain my EAD after I come back to US after 30 day.
Please Guide Me

you dont have to do anything. Based on your L2 petition you will get an I-94
valid till 2009. Since your EAD is unexpired, you can continue working once you come back. EAD is authorization to work, completely unrelated to your travel to India and back. What exactly are you worried about?

The email should have info so that recipient can verify that rally was for EB GC issues and not H1B issues.
Say rally was organized by IV.

Mine and spouse I 485 are approved on 5th Oct 2010 after RFE and answering it.
But Kids one is not approved showing online status as initial review.
I called USCIS and came to know that I can not create second SR until I complete 30 days after answering first SR.
But I did not get answer for first SR. They are saying There is RFE on principal candidate application.
But that one is cleared and approved.
I escalated the issue to second level and then they are mentioning my kids one is also approved on last Monday. But still the online status is showing as initial review.
Is it or same kind of thing happened to any one else?
Please guide your experience.

For AP it doesn't matter approved I-140 or not. For EAD it's safer not to use it till I-140 approval. I would apply for it and hold just in case. Also your spouse can use EAD without I-140 approval, she/he can switch back to H4 if 140 is denied. I's critical for main applicant to maintain H1/L1 status.

I think next time any one of us talks to USCIS, we should ask this question as to "Whether they have generated any rejection notices for apps received on July 2 2007 and have they mailed them".....my attorney says so far they have not received any rejection notices for apps filed on July 2 2007.
I checked with someone who has hired Rajiv Khanna and they said the same thing to him. So far, they have not generated any rejection notice for any application filed on and after July 2nd. Since this came from Rajiv Khanna I would think that it's some what credible information.
We will just have to wait and see till our checks get cashed!

USCIS also checks whether you have been paying taxes. W2 alone does not help.

Most of your points are ok. But someone has to arrive with a calculation that how much improvement will EB3 get. If it is atleast 2 years then the time and money spent may be Ok. I am sure EB2 will get a very big benefit and I doubt EB3 will get much benefit. My assumption may be wrong. If it is ok even for small benefit we can go ahead with this campaign as the main aim is to remove unfairness in law.
I have to say that I am a bit ticked off by your ignorance. Did not expect this from someone who has been a long time member. You should have thought it through. See my response below.

Guys I have a basic question if filing for 140 and 485 concurently is rule that uscis can change.. why cant they change a rule to file for EAD and AP after 140 is approved. Since these two are seperate all together from 485 anyway, all we need is filing these two. and 485 can filed when numbers are available.

If web faxes to the representatives offices have not made an impact, How will a petition on a third party website will make an impact?
I don't mean to dampen any one's enthusiasm here but we have been clearly the best ways to make an impact on a law maker's decision are
(1) Go to their offices and meet their legislative assistant/ aide's
(2) Call them.
If you haven't called Rep Smith's office, call now. If you did encourage your friends from San Antonio / Austin area to do so.
Lets start it as soon as possible so it can have an positive impact on those three pending bills that will be presented to Congress this summer.

Visa bulletin will be the future(in contrast of being history) again after u receive ur Receipt Notice as that is what u will be looking for to see if they are processing ur application after Oct.
